CONFIDENTIAL PREVIEW — unreleased page. Not public, not linked, not indexed.

Own It — perpetual licence

Licence & terms

For the owned, local edition of Image Desk. No accounts, no metering, no subscription.

Version 1 — effective 21 August 2026. This is the agreement that applies to purchases made now, and the version recorded in your licence file. If it is ever revised, the new text is published as a later version — your copy stays governed by the version you accepted.

The short version. You bought a copy of Image Desk, and it's yours. It runs on your own computer. It keeps working with no subscription, no account, and no company on the other end that can switch it off. Everything you make with it belongs to you. We never see your images. The full terms below say the same thing, carefully.

1. What you're getting

Image Desk is software you install and run on your own hardware. When you buy a licence, SavannahOS ("we," "us") grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable-except-as-described licence to install and use Image Desk for your own personal or business purposes.

Who owns what. Image Desk — its software, name, design and documentation — is the property of SavannahOS and is protected by copyright. © 2026 SavannahOS. All rights reserved. Your licence gives you a copy that is permanently yours to install, run and keep: nobody can take it back, expire it or switch it off. What it does not transfer is ownership of the software itself, which stays with us. That is the ordinary arrangement for bought software, and it is what allows section 12 to stop someone reselling your copy as their own product. It has no bearing at all on the images you make with it — those are entirely yours under section 2.

2. What you make is yours

Every image you generate, restore, edit, or otherwise produce with Image Desk is yours. You may sell it, use it in client work, and treat it as your own creation. We claim no ownership of your outputs and we never receive them.

The one thing this licence does not let you do is run Image Desk as a service for other people — charging third parties for access to the software itself or to a machine running it. Sell what you make; don't sell access to the machine that makes it.

3. Updates

Founder licences include every future update for the life of the product, at no additional cost. Standard licences include one year of updates from purchase; after that year your copy keeps working forever exactly as it is. Updates are optional — a copy that never updates keeps running.

4. The model files

Image Desk generates images using AI model files downloaded directly to your machine from their original creators, each under that creator's own licence. Image Desk does not host or redistribute them; it fetches them for you and stores them locally.

5. What you may not use it for

You may not use Image Desk to create, or attempt to create, sexual content involving minors, or any child sexual abuse material, in any form. This prohibition is absolute, has no exception, and applies regardless of any other permission in this agreement. Content-safety protection against this cannot be disabled and is present in every copy.

6. How your licence identifies your copy

Images produced by a licensed copy carry, in their file metadata, your licence ID and business name — never your personal name, email, or any other personal information. It records which licence made the file, nothing about you and nothing about what the image is.

7. Your privacy

Image Desk runs entirely on your machine. Your uploads, prompts, generated images, and any personal model you train stay on your computer — we do not receive them and have no way to see what you make. The software's only outbound connections are the model downloads and the update check described in Section 1.

What we hold about you. Three things, all given by you at checkout: your name, your email address, and your business name if you chose to give one. They appear in our record of your sale and in your licence file, where they are your proof of ownership. We use your email to send you your licence and your purchase confirmation, and to reach you about your purchase or a genuine support matter. We never sell or share any of it.

What our payment processor holds. Payment is handled by Stripe, which collects your card details and billing address to take the payment and to check it against fraud. We never see or store your full card details, and your billing address stays with Stripe — it is not copied into our records or into your licence.

What goes into your images. Only your licence ID and business name, as described in Section 6 — never your personal name, your email, or anything about the image itself.

8. Transferring your licence

You may transfer your licence to another person or business one time, by contacting us so we can record the transfer. After a transfer, the previous owner's licence is retired.

9. No warranty

Image Desk is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind — express or implied — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, SavannahOS and its operators, partners, and suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or related to your use of Image Desk. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for your licence.

11. Refunds — all sales are final

All sales are final. Image Desk is delivered as software that downloads to your own computer and runs entirely offline, with no account and no way for us to switch it off. Once it's delivered, it cannot be returned — a refund would mean you keep a full, working copy anyway. For that reason we do not offer refunds once your copy is delivered.

What we offer instead is a real commitment to make it work for you: tell us what's wrong and we will help you get it running, including a live one-to-one session to get it working — by Zoom screen share, or by Windows Quick Assist (built into Windows 10 and 11) if you would rather we take the mouse and keyboard ourselves. You start that session and you can end it at any time. By purchasing and choosing immediate download, you expressly consent to Image Desk being delivered right away and acknowledge that, because delivery is immediate, you lose any right to cancel once the download begins. That consent is captured at checkout.

12. What you may not do with the software itself

Image Desk is yours to run, not to hand on. You may not redistribute, re-release, resell, sublicense or publish the software, in whole or in part, and you may not make a modified or derivative version of it for anyone else. You may not run it as a service for other people — sell what you make, not access to the machine that makes it.

Two things this does not touch. It does not limit what you do with the images you create — those are yours under section 2, with no royalties and no caps. And it does not apply to the AI model files, which you download from their original creators under their own licences — see section 4. The single permanent transfer allowed in section 8 is still permitted.

13. The agreement, and the law

This licence is between you and SavannahOS, the maker and operator of Image Desk. It is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. This is the entire agreement about your licence to Image Desk.
